
Anne
Anne earned her Ph.D. from the California School of Professional Psychology in San Diego in 1977. She served as a clinical psychologist for the U.S. Navy for 8 years. Receiving her Florida license as a professional psychologist in 1986 (PY 3915), she began her private practice in Orlando in 1987. Anne's service with the Navy and in private practice included a wide range of patient issues, problems and diagnoses. She specialized in the treatment of trauma, complicated grief (especially homicide), depression, anxiety and panic disorders using EMDR, TIR, and cognitive behavioral therapy. As the former head of Alcohol Rehabilitation Service at two Navy hospitals, she was well prepared to deal with substance abuse recovery and co-dependency issues. Anne also remained very knowledgeable about psychotropic medications and helping people deal with chronic medical conditions.

Herschel
Herschel earned his Ed.D. in Curriculum and Instruction with a cognate in psychology at the University of Central Florida in 2001. He began his career with an M.S. in psychology from North Carolina State University in Raleigh in 1977. Herschel served as a psychologist and family counselor for the U.S. Navy for 14 years, receiving his Florida Marriage and Family Therapist license in 1982 (MT 0352), and was in private practice in Orlando since 1988. Herschel retired from the U.S. Naval Reserve as a Commander in 1996. He focused his clinical work on helping adults with marital and family problems including divorce prevention, trauma recovery especially from crime victimization, complicated grief (homicide especially), anger control and adult ADD/ADHD management. He utilized an eclectic combination of brief solution focused therapy, EMDR, TIR, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), and emotionally focused therapy (EFT). He also provided long term support to homicide "survivors" and has also served on the board of directors for the Bereaved Survivors of Homicide (BSH) from 1996 to 2009.
